Recognizing the gap in the market, she aimed to extend the store’s straightforward and timeless selection to cater specifically to women, a pioneering move in Zurich that remains unparalleled to this day.

Remaining true to her concept, Sigrid continued with Bruton & Hudson Woman. In 2016, the store expanded, prompting a relocation to Josefstrasse 22. The new interior radiates the owner’s personal style — charming, adorned with 1960s metal lamps, an antique counter from Appenzell, and snapshots from her ventures through Parisian flea markets.

At Bruton & Hudson, the emphasis is on creating an atmosphere where women feel comfortable. The store offers a dedicated, cozy fitting room, akin to a home environment.
