AMONT · VENUE PRICING DECISION GUIDE

Day rate vs weekly venue rental in Paris

A day rate answers one pricing unit; it does not describe the commercial package. Paris temporary venues may price around the full occupation, a peak Fashion Week window, minimum dates or the opportunity cost of blocking another booking. Compare the signed scenario from first access to final handover.

Peak demandDoes the day price change on Fashion Week or event dates? Is the package tied to a peak seasonal window?Same dates and option deadline
Included servicesDoes each day include venue staff, utilities or cleaning?Which services cover the full period?Itemised total with quantities

Choose the structure that matches the operation.

A shorter booking is not automatically cheaper once fixed project costs and access risk are included.

One-day programme

Press day, shoot or contained launch

A day rate can be rational when installation is genuinely light, the venue accepts short use and the team can enter, operate and leave within approved hours. Test overtime and supplier timing hard.

Best when · scope is contained
Multi-day operation

Showroom or public pop-up

A package often fits repeated opening, overnight product, daily reset and a real installation. Compare the marginal cost of extra live days against the fixed cost already committed.

Best when · continuity matters
Peak window

Fashion Week commercial package

The owner may price the opportunity cost of the whole high-demand window rather than multiply ordinary days. Decide whether the dates and address create enough commercial value for the project.

Build one comparison sheet per property using identical dates, use, hours, services and risk assumptions. A cheap day rate with excluded installation, overtime, security and cleaning can exceed a transparent multi-day package.

Day-rate versus weekly-package checklist.

Use before approving the cheaper-looking proposal.

Write one exact occupation calendar from first key handover to final accepted exit.
Confirm the minimum booking, option deadline and whether peak-season package rules apply.
List included access hours and rates for early, late, weekend or overrun periods.
Separate venue rent, tax, fee, utilities, staff, technical, security, cleaning, waste and reinstatement.
Confirm what existing furniture, lighting, Wi-Fi, kitchen, storage and equipment may actually be used.
Model installation and removal realistically with suppliers, delivery windows and final cleaning.
Separate project expenditure from refundable deposit and other cash-flow requirements.
Compare cancellation, date-change, overtime and damage exposure using the same scenario.
Calculate the commercial purpose and marginal value of each additional live day.
Request a revised itemised quote if the two offers cannot be compared on equal scope.
