AMONT · COPYABLE FASHION SHOWROOM BRIEF

Fashion showroom brief template for Paris

A useful showroom brief lets a venue owner or sourcing specialist understand the occupation in one pass. It states the full dates, collection volume, appointment model, team, physical requirements, location logic, budget and decision process without hiding mixed uses.

The minimum viable brief

Four lines prevent most early ambiguity.

01 · Dates
Install, live, remove
02 · Use
Wholesale, press, retail
03 · Volume
Samples and appointments
04 · Budget
Venue and total envelope

Copy this showroom brief structure.

Replace assumptions with quantities, decisions and named responsibilities.

Brief fieldWhat to provideWhy it changes the search
Project identityBrand or showroom name, contracting entity, decision maker, agency and on-site leadOwners assess the project, contracting route and accountability
Full occupationInstallation, technical test, buyer days, press moments, replenishment, removal and handover with hoursThe venue must be available and priced for every required access period
UseWholesale appointments, multi-brand showroom, press preview, fitting, content, reception or public retailPermissions, insurance, staffing and venue format change by activity
CollectionCategories, sample count, continuous rail metres, hanging versus folded product, accessories, footwear and valuable itemsUsable walls, furniture, security, light and reserve become measurable
AppointmentsExpected daily meetings, maximum simultaneous groups, average slot, VIP/privacy needs and waitingThe floor plan must support the commercial rhythm, not total invitations
Support spacesFitting, steaming, kitchen or water, office, order writing, staff belongings, packaging, storage and wasteBack-of-house often decides whether the front room stays credible
Access + productionLargest item, vehicle, door, lift, stairs, floor protection, power, internet, signage and furnitureOperational constraints eliminate unsuitable options before a visit
Location + budgetRequired district, acceptable alternatives, audience reason, venue budget, total envelope and tax basisThe shortlist can test address value against format and total cost

Replace adjectives with operating evidence.

‘Large’, ‘central’ and ‘premium’ do not give a search enough structure.

Product

Quantify the collection

State rail metres or sample count by category, the number of edits shown simultaneously and what must remain boxed, steamed, secured or fitted.

Evidence · plan + inventory
Audience

Quantify concurrency

Total invitations matter less than how many buyer groups, staff and press contacts share the room at the same moment.

Evidence · appointment grid
Property

Define the usable format

Describe frontage, daylight, ceiling, privacy, meeting rooms, ground-floor need and loading as functions rather than visual preferences.

Evidence · decision criteria
AMONT field position

State mixed use explicitly.

A showroom can include wholesale, press, content, hospitality and retail, but these uses are not interchangeable. Concealing a public or evening component creates contractual and operating risk later.

01 · Wholesale
Appointments and ordersState buyer numbers, privacy, collection route and commercial work points.
02 · Press
Images and interviewsAdd arrival peaks, backdrops, power, sound and any embargo or confidentiality needs.
03 · Retail
Public access and salesDescribe opening hours, stock, payment, queue and public-facing operation.
04 · Hospitality
Food, drink and guestsState service, preparation, alcohol, evening hours and waste rather than calling it incidental.

Attachments to send with the brief.

A short written brief becomes actionable when the supporting documents agree with it.

One-page project summary with exact use and commercial objective.
Occupation calendar showing installation, live use, removal and handover.
Appointment grid or attendance scenarios with simultaneous occupancy.
Collection inventory or rail-length calculation by category.
Zoning sketch for arrival, collection, meeting, fitting and back-of-house.
Largest delivery dimensions and access requirements.
Technical, furniture, internet, power, signage and hospitality schedule.
Budget basis, contracting entity, insurance route and approval deadline.
