AMONT · PARIS RENTAL COST CONTROL

Hidden costs in Paris showroom and pop-up rentals

Most extra costs are not truly hidden. They are the unpriced consequences of an incomplete occupation plan: access before opening, overtime, furniture, staff, security, utilities, cleaning, waste, damage and reinstatement.

Four places extras appear

Three lines are commonly misunderstood.

Treat cash flow, optional service and property repair differently.

Deposit

Security is not the same as rent

A refundable deposit ties up cash and becomes a cost only if the agreed return conditions are not met or a dispute arises. Confirm amount, timing and release process.

Record · payer · holder · return trigger
Optional

A service can become operationally necessary

Cleaning, venue staff, furniture or security may be listed as optional but required by the actual use, building rules or opening plan.

Record · who decides + when
Damage

Reinstatement is broader than breakage

Adhesive residue, paint, floor marks, abandoned material, late exit or missing inventory can create charges without a dramatic incident.

Record · approved methods + evidence
AMONT field position

The cheapest rent can be the most expensive room to operate.

Compare the space after adding the work required to make it safe, legible, staffed, stocked, connected and restored. Existing infrastructure has value only when it is suitable and included.

01 · Time
Count non-public daysThe property is occupied while the team builds, tests, resets and removes.
02 · Scope
Name every included itemAvoid phrases such as standard furniture or normal cleaning without quantities and conditions.
03 · Owner
Assign every responsibilityBrand, agency, venue and supplier should know who orders, supervises and pays.
04 · Exit
