Paris venue agency and sourcing fees explained
A sourcing fee is separate from venue rent and is not a charge for access to a hidden catalogue. It remunerates an agreed search and coordination scope. At AMONT, the commercial structure can vary with the assignment and parties involved; it is confirmed before commitment rather than presented as one public percentage or universal tariff.
Four facts to request before comparing fees
A percentage alone explains almost nothing.

Separate the fee from the project cost.
The actual proposal should state every applicable line.
| Commercial item | What it can cover | What it does not automatically cover | What to confirm |
|---|---|---|---|
| AMONT sourcing or agency fee | Brief qualification, search, public and private outreach, initial availability checks, shortlist, owner/partner exchanges, negotiation, visits, comparison and coordination through booking | Venue rent and third-party production | Exact scope, payer, amount or calculation, trigger and VAT |
| Venue rent | Occupation of the agreed property during stated dates and access windows | Extra access, equipment, services or restoration unless written | Dates, use, inclusions, exclusions, tax and cancellation |
| Security deposit | Contractual protection against damage or unfulfilled handover obligations | It is not a fee when returned according to the contract | Amount, payment method, inspection and release process |
| Production and operations | Furniture, technical services, security, cleaning, staff, transport, permits and reinstatement | Not included in AMONT sourcing unless explicitly added | Supplier, price, tax, responsibility and approval |
Judge the fee by the information gap it closes.
The cheapest route can be expensive when scope is missing.
Translate the brief into a market test
A usable assignment defines dates, access, approved use, audience, district, surface, budget, production and decision deadline. Without that discipline, a large catalogue creates work rather than choice.
Compare public and private opportunities on one basis
AMONT can identify, qualify and negotiate opportunities beyond the public portfolio. Off-market sourcing is targeted work for a specific brief—not paid admission to a static secret inventory.
Normalise offers and responsibilities
Rent, fees, tax, deposit, access, equipment, security, cleaning and reinstatement must be separated. A low venue quote can become the highest total commitment after missing lines are restored.
AMONT does not publish a universal fee rate because one does not govern every assignment.
The payer and commercial structure depend on the venue and assignment. The applicable fee, VAT treatment and payment trigger are confirmed in the proposal before the venue is secured. A single published rate would not accurately represent every assignment.
