Maison&Objet Paris brand event venue guide
Maison&Objet is a professional design and lifestyle fair held at Paris Nord Villepinte. The official site currently lists 10–14 September 2026 and 14–18 January 2027. A separate venue in central Paris can support a launch, showroom, press programme or hospitality, but it is not a fair stand and should never be presented as official participation without authorisation.
A city venue must solve a second job
It should add value the fair stand cannot.

Choose a city programme with a clear additional purpose.
If the event simply duplicates the stand, travel friction may outweigh its value.
| City programme | Value beyond the fair | Venue requirement | Commercial proof |
|---|---|---|---|
| Private buyer showroom | Longer review, confidential terms or an extended collection | Quiet appointments, samples, tables, reserve and connectivity | Named accounts and confirmed slots |
| Product launch | Controlled reveal, brand story, media and content | Arrival sequence, reveal zone, product access and production support | Guest list, message and follow-up |
| Press presentation | Editorial access away from the exhibition hall | Daylight or controlled light, interview and content areas | Media targets and assets |
| Architect/specifier session | Technical product discussion and material handling | Large working surfaces, samples, drawings and expert team | Project audience and technical pack |
| Retailer hospitality | Relationship-building outside stand pressure | Convenient route, service, privacy and realistic timing | Invitees and attendance plan |
| Evening reception | Broader brand moment after fair hours | Capacity, sound, catering, security and departures | Guest acquisition and operating approvals |
| Public pop-up | Consumer discovery or direct retail separate from the B2B fair | Frontage, public access, checkout, stock and opening team | Local audience plan |
| Exhibition | Deeper cultural or creative context for the collection | Installation, interpretation, supervision and longer access | Programme relevance and communications |
Model the fair-to-city journey honestly.
A calendar invitation is not proof that a guest can make the trip.
Start from the guest’s fair commitments
Include departure from the hall, transport, hotel or office stops, arrival security and the next commitment. An evening programme, early breakfast or appointment on a different day may be more realistic than a tight daytime transfer.
Segment fair visitors from city audiences
International buyers, architects, journalists, local clients and public visitors have different reasons to attend. Build invitations, content, hours and venue access for the priority group rather than one undifferentiated list.
Keep official and independent status separate
State that the activation takes place in Paris during the Maison&Objet period when that is accurate. Do not use wording, marks or programme claims that imply organiser approval, inclusion or partnership without written rights.
Use the city venue to deepen the relationship.
The strongest independent programme gives priority guests time, context or access that the fair floor cannot provide. It should not depend on borrowed visibility or force an unnecessary journey for a weak duplicate display.
